The ACCREDIA Certification, issued by the Italian Accreditation body ACCREDIA, certifies that the Abich Laboratory complies with the requirements of the UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 standard for tests on surgical masks. Accredited tests are Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) and Microbial Cleanliness (Bioburden).
With ACCREDIA accreditation Abich certifies the quality level of the Laboratory, verifying the compliance of the management system and skills with internationally recognized regulatory requirements, as well as with the mandatory legislative requirements. Accreditation ensures that the laboratory has all the requirements required by the standards to carry out conformity assessment activities. Accreditation is the certification, by a body (ACCREDIA) acting as super partes guarantor, of the competence, independence and impartiality of the testing laboratory. The accreditation of the laboratory confers a high degree of reliability in terms of quality and safety to the test reports released on the market.
